President Trump clashed with South African President

President Trump clashed with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa during an Oval Office meeting Wednesday over whether a “genocide” was taking place in the country against white farmers.
“It will take President Trump listening to the voices of South Africans, some of whom are his good friends, like those who are here,” President Ramaphosa said, taking over a question to President Trump on what it would take to convince him there was no ongoing genocide.
President Trump responded by saying there are “thousands of stories” and “documentaries” illustrating his point before directing his staff to dim the lights and play a video that purports to show evidence of violence against white farmers.
He also held up printouts of news articles as evidence of his claims of a genocide. “Death, death, death,” he said as he flipped through the stories.
Asked what President Ramaphosa made of the videos, President Trump jumped in, saying, “When you look at the videos, how does it get worse?”
President Ramaphosa then explained that one of the video clips showing a politician calling for land expropriation without compensation was from a “small minority party” that did not represent his government.
“We have a multiparty democracy in South Africa that allows people to express themself,” he said. “Our government policy is completely, completely against what he was saying.”
President Ramaphosa said his country has a crime problem that affects all South Africans and that white people were not being killed at a higher rate than others.
“There is criminality in our country,” he said. “People who do get killed, unfortunately, through criminal activity are not only white people. The majority of them are Black people.”
The exchange then went on for another half hour, all in front of live television cameras.

THE PLOT THICKENS

THE PLOT THICKENS. Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial for sex-trafficking and racketeering is on its seventh day in a New York City federal court. The mogul's former assisstant David James told the court that he often had to bring Diddy's supplies to different hotels all over the world.

He said the Trump International hotel in New York was the mogul's 'favorite.'
'Trump International, they knew me very well, they gave me a key,' James said when asked how he prepared the hotel rooms for Diddy's arrival. - By Germania Rodriguez Poleo for DMail - 20 May.
In case anyone is curious about why Donald Trump continually gives Vladimir Putin everything he wants and more.
THE STEELE DOSSIER, also known as the Trump–Russia dossier, is a controversial political opposition research report on the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump compiled by counterintelligence specialist Christopher Steele. It was published without permission in 2017 as an unfinished 35-page compilation of "unverified, and potentially unverifiable" memos that were considered by Steele to be "raw intelligence – not established facts, but a starting point for further investigation".
The dossier was written from June to December 2016 and contains allegations of misconduct, conspiracy, and cooperation between Trump's presidential campaign and the government of Russia prior to and during the 2016 election campaign. U.S. intelligence agencies, the January 2017 ODNI report, and the Mueller report have corroborated the following June 2016 dossier allegations written by Steele:
"that the Russian government was working to get Mr. Trump elected"; that Russia sought "to cultivate people in Trump's orbit" and that many Trump campaign officials and associates had numerous secretive contacts with Russian officials and agents; that Vladimir Putin favored Trump over Hillary Clinton; that Putin personally ordered an "influence campaign" to harm Clinton's campaign and to "undermine public faith in the US democratic process"; and that he ordered cyberattacks on both parties
KOMPROMAT AND BLACKMAIL: (Unverified allegations) ...that Trump "hated" Obama so much that when he stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow, he hired the presidential suite (Report 80), but did not stay in it. There he employed "a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden showers' (urination) show in front of him" in order to defile the bed used by the Obamas on an earlier visit. The alleged incident from 2013 was reportedly filmed and recorded by the FSB as kompromat. (Report 80)
... that Trump was vulnerable to blackmail from Russian authorities for paying bribes and engaging in unorthodox and embarrassing sexual behavior over the years, and that the authorities were "able to blackmail him if they so wished". (Reports 80, 95, 97, 113)
... that the Kremlin had promised Trump they would not use the kompromat collected against him "as leverage, given high levels of voluntary co-operation forthcoming from his team" (Report 97)
... that Trump had explored the real estate sectors in St. Petersburg and Moscow, "but in the end TRUMP had had to settle for the use of extensive sexual services there from local prostitutes rather than business successes. (Report 95)
... that witnesses to his "sex parties in the city" had been "'silenced' i.e. bribed or coerced to disappear." (Report 113) - Wiki -
Let's not forget the infamous recording of Trump boasting about grabbing women by their genitals. He was found guilty of sexual assault in a civil court. He cheated on his pregnant wife with a Playboy Bunny. Trump also had sex with a pornstar which he covered up in order to help him win the 2016 election. He was subsequently found guilty of 34 felonies and is the first felon to ever serve as president of the United States of America. He was also very good friends with Jeffrey Epstein.
EPSTEIN DIED DURING TRUMP'S PRESIDENCY: - FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stunned MAGA conspiracy theorists on Sunday as he gave his verdict on pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 death. Bongino and his superior, FBI Director Kash Patel, sat down with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo to deny claims that Epstein was somehow killed inside New York City's infamous Metropolitan Correctional Center.
On the program, Bartiromo asked Patel about the ongoing skepticism surrounding Epstein's death. 'You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide,' she said. 'People don't believe it.' Patel then said that everyone has a 'right to their opinion.'
'But as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who's been in that prison system, who has been at the Metropolitan Detention Center, who's been in segregated housing - You know a suicide when you see one,' he replied. At that point, Bongino jumped in.
'He killed himself... I've seen the whole file. He killed himself,' the deputy director insisted. He later reiterated his bombshell assertion on X for anyone who had not seen the interview.
'I have reviewed the case. Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. There's no evidence in the case file suggesting otherwise,' Bongino wrote. 'I'm not asking you to believe me or not, I'm telling you what exists and what doesn't.' 'If new evidence surfaces, I'm happy to re-evaluate,' he vowed.
The assertion marked a U-turn for Bongino, who has previously spread his own conspiracy theories about Epstein's untimely passing. He alleged on his podcast last year that former President Bill Clinton is 'knee-deep in this Jeffrey Epstein scandal.' More recently, in February, Bongino said he was 'starting to hear some things about the Jeffrey Epstein files.' He claimed at the time, 'You do not know all the details of this thing, I promise.'
#TRUMPBODYCOUNT: President Donald Trump has also shared his own skepticism about Epstein's cause of death. He had shared a tweet on his page questioning how the convicted pedophile could have died while on full-time suicide watch.
'How does that happen...' the tweet read, before alleging that Epstein 'had information on Bill Clinton and now he's dead.'
‘I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this!’
The post ended with the hashtags #ClintonBodyCount and #ClintonCrimeFamily.
In the years since, Trump has suggested he would release documents relating to the investigation of billionaire child sex trafficker. He then signed an executive order upon taking office in January calling on agencies to create plans to release and distribute top-secret documents including on Epstein.
Attorney General Pam Bondi made good on that promise the following month, releasing what she called 'phase one' of the long-anticipated files. However, there were no bombshells in the first wave of documents - which included flight logs, Epstein's infamous contact book, an evidence list and a masseuse list.
SOMETHING FISHY: Still, many Americans continue to doubt the official report that Epstein hung himself inside his cell - and were left outraged by Bongino's statement on Sunday. Podcaster Luke
Rudkowski, for example, declared 'something is wrong here.'How did Epstein destroy the video cameras? Move his cell mate out while under suicide watch after an alleged previous attempt a few days before to be able to do that in a cell made to make that impossible?' he asked.
Conservative influencer Sarah Adams also questioned the FBI's investigation into the pedophile's death.
'As someone who saw [the] FBI's investigation into Benghazi and how incorrect it was... I think authorizing an outside body to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's death is something that the public would need to truly trust the findings,' she wrote on X.
Republican Florida County Commissioner Anthony Sabatini was more direct in his claims - asserting: 'Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.' - By Melissa Koenig for DMail - 19 May.
27 February 2025. - DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE: Today, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), declassified and publicly released files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his sexual exploitation of over 250 underage girls at his homes in New York and Florida, among other locations. The first phase of declassified files largely contains documents that have been previously leaked but never released in a formal capacity by the U.S. Government. - Department of Justice.
28 February 2025. - I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG: President Donald Trump celebrated on Friday after the FBI returned boxes of classified documents that were confiscated during a raid of Mar-a-Lago in 2022.
The FBI removed boxes of classified documents and other sensitive materials from Trump's South Florida home in August 2022. Trump was accused of illegally retaining the documents following his first term in the White House and was indicted in June 2023 on dozens of federal felony charges.
Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump, eventually dismissed the documents case in July 2024, ruling that former Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith had been illegally appointed by then-Attorney General Merrick Garland.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung announced in a statement on Friday that the FBI, now led by Kash Patel, was "giving the President his property back that was taken during the unlawful and illegal raids."
"We are taking possession of the boxes today and loading them onto Air Force One," Cheung added.
The president celebrated the news in a post to Truth Social, asserting that the return of the documents meant that "justice" was being "restored."
"The Department of Justice has just returned the boxes that Deranged Jack Smith made such a big deal about," Trump wrote.
"Justice finally won out," he continued. "I did absolutely nothing wrong. This was merely an attack on a political opponent that, obviously, did not work well. Justice in our Country will now be restored."
Trump counselor Alina Habba, in a Friday post to X, formerly Twitter: "I just personally loaded the infamous "boxes" back onto Air Force 1 to head home where they belong. Justice has been and will continue to be restored in this country under President Trump. TRUTH AND JUSTICE ALWAYS WIN IN THE END. God Bless America." - Published Feb 28, 2025 for Newsweek - Article by Aila Slisco.
The day after (28 February) the DOJ releases the Epstein files nothingburger (27 February), a mysterious flight packed full of documents makes its way to Florida under the supervision of FBI director Kash Patel and Alina Habba. Mmmm, nothing to see here.

SABC 2 Stops Airing Afrikaans News, Says There’s “No Evidence Language Still Exists”

JOHANNESBURG – The SABC has officially announced that it has discontinued Afrikaans news bulletins, citing a complete “lack of evidence that the language still exists in South Africa.”
The Afrikaans news bulletin, traditionally aired at 18:15 on SABC2, mysteriously vanished over the weekend of 5 and 6 April. Viewers sat dutifully in front of their televisions, remote in one hand, rooibos in the other, only to be greeted by... nothing. Not even a rerun of 7de Laan or a heartfelt apology from Riaan Cruywagen’s hologram.
When questioned, a spokesperson for the national broadcaster explained, “We launched a thorough investigation, which included asking interns, phoning one tannie in Orania, and Googling 'Afrikaans'—which autocorrected to 'Africans'. So we assumed the language was just a colonial fever dream. No one really speaks it, right?”
The announcement caused outrage across the land, particularly in towns where the local Spar sign still reads "Winkel" and everyone greets you with a friendly “Goeie môre” even if it’s 4 p.m.
Afrikaans community strikes back
In response, several Afrikaner action groups mobilised almost immediately—though not before finishing their braais. “This is cultural genocide, bru!” said one outraged activist, Jannie van Wyk, as he polished his bakkie bonnet with a Voortrekker flag. “First they came for the rugby commentary, and I said nothing. Then they came for the news. Now how am I supposed to know what’s going on in Pretoria, hey?”
Others took to social media, flooding SABC’s Facebook page with impassioned posts and inspirational Bible verses in cursive fonts, mostly ending with “Eendrag maak mag” and a photo of a lion.
Alternative news sources emerge
In the wake of the crisis, several grassroots efforts have popped up to fill the void. “We’ve launched BoereNuus, a weekly news podcast hosted from a converted plaasdam,” said founder Annatjie Botha. “We’ll cover everything from farm gate politics to pap thickness regulations. No English. No subtitles. Just pure Afrikaans and conspiracy theories.”
Academic confusion reigns
Meanwhile, academics across the country have expressed bafflement at SABC’s claim. Professor Gertjie Pretorius, linguist at the University of Stellenbosch, responded with a sternly worded letter written entirely in archaic Afrikaans cursive script, which required translation by three grandmothers and a parrot from Parys.
Government response
Minister of Cultural Affairs and Very Awkward Explanations, Nomvula Skhosana, said the decision was “based on recent trends showing that most South Africans now communicate in emojis, voice notes, and passive-aggressive community WhatsApp group messages.”
When asked if there were plans to bring back the Afrikaans news, she shrugged and said, “If someone can prove the language exists, we’ll reconsider. Until then, we assume it went the same way as fax machines and SABC's budget.”
SABC final statement
In their final press release, SABC noted, “We acknowledge the emotional response from viewers. However, we must adapt to the times. We are exploring a new, inclusive news bulletin in a language everyone can understand: Tsotsitaal with English subtitles.”
Afrikaans-speakers across the nation are now reportedly considering launching their own TV channel, tentatively titled “OnsTV: Want Ons Sê So.”
